The 1980s surge in water gardens prompted Webb’s to expand its offerings. To meet growing customer demand for supplies and maintenance, Webb’s introduced its first in-store pond display in 1988, featuring iconic koi fish Zeus and Apollo.

Webb’s Christmas magic extended beyond the store. Festive displays and fresh trees drew crowds yearly. In 1996, leftover nutcrackers sparked an online venture on eBay, leading to Webb's early website in 1997, pioneering the dot-com era.
